Which network does the Colombia eSIM use?
Claro Colombia. It is one of Colombia's main mobile networks, so coverage matches what local subscribers get rather than a thin roaming-only footprint.
Will I get 5G in Colombia?
Yes, where Claro Colombia has deployed it and your phone supports it. Outside those areas the eSIM falls back to 4G/LTE automatically — you won't need to change any setting.
How much data do I actually need for Colombia?
As a rough guide: navigation and messaging burn around 100–200 MB a day, social media roughly 500 MB an hour, and video calls about 1 GB an hour. A short trip fits inside the 3 GB plan ($18); a fortnight of heavier use is closer to 10 GB ($41.50).
