Which network does the Iceland eSIM use?
We don't publish a single operator name for Iceland, because the profile can attach to more than one partner network and picks whichever is strongest where you are. In practice that means you get the best available signal rather than being locked to one operator's weak spots.
Will I get 5G in Iceland?
On plans marked 5G, yes — where the network has deployed it and your phone supports it. Outside those areas the eSIM falls back to 4G/LTE automatically; you won't need to change any setting.
How much data do I actually need for Iceland?

When does my Iceland plan start counting down?

Can I keep my own phone number while I'm in Iceland?
Yes — that's the main reason to use an eSIM rather than a local SIM. Your home line stays active for calls, SMS and two-factor codes; the Iceland eSIM sits alongside it as a data-only line. Leave data roaming off for your home line to avoid a surprise bill.
Do I need to register or show a passport to use a Iceland eSIM?

What happens if I run out of data in Iceland?
