Which network does the Greece eSIM use?
Cosmote. It is one of Greece's main mobile networks, so coverage matches what local subscribers get rather than a thin roaming-only footprint.
Will I get 5G in Greece?
Yes, where Cosmote has deployed it and your phone supports it. Outside those areas the eSIM falls back to 4G/LTE automatically — you won't need to change any setting.
How much data do I actually need for Greece?
Most travellers over-buy. Maps and messaging for a week is under 2 GB; streaming and video calls are what move the number. Start at 3 GB ($11) and top up if you run short — the 10 GB plan ($25.50) is for remote work and heavy streaming.
When does my Greece plan start counting down?
